How we work
25 years in IT and low-voltage infrastructure sit behind every scope we write. Every job follows the same standard: scope it, price it in writing, get it scheduled with a checked installer. Same process for every job, every metro, every trade.
-
1. We scope the job
A walkthrough or a quick call fixes exactly what's being installed: drop counts, camera counts, doors, rooms. No guessing at the price before someone has actually looked at the space.
-
2. You get a written price
A quote from our published cost data, in writing, before anything is ordered or scheduled. What moves the number is spelled out, not buried.
-
3. License verification
Where a trade requires a license (electrical work, and low-voltage work in jurisdictions that license it), the installer on your job holds the correct, current license for that specific scope of work. Line-voltage work, smart switches, dimmers, panels, and service upgrades is always done by a licensed electrician.
-
4. Certificate of insurance on file
A current certificate of insurance is on file per job before work begins, not checked once and assumed to still be valid months later.
-
5. Manufacturer and industry credential review
Where a job specifies warranty-backed cable, camera platforms, or other manufacturer-certified systems, the installer holds the relevant manufacturer or industry certification for that scope.
-
6. Reference checks
Installer partners are reviewed against past work before they're on our list.
-
7. Scheduled installation
The installer is booked for your address at the price you approved. Nothing is ordered or scheduled before you say go.
The installer on your job is independent, licensed where the trade requires it, and insured.
